Who Is The Business Ace…?

The Business Ace is Guy Norgrove.

After an introduction to Information Technology in the oil exploration business, Guy’s career soon expanded into the more commercial arena of Application Software.

With a good grounding in financial planning and multi national consolidation systems in the 1970s, his entrepreneurial spirit took flight in the form of founding a specialist London and International Insurance Market Application Software business in 1980. Starting with 1 customer and a small staff, the business grew steadily to 4 main Product Lines and nearly 50 staff with customers in UK and Europe before its sale in 1987.

Guy put his experience to good use at Management Board level in Siemens Nixdorf, Computer Associates, and Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for Sun’s Software business iPlanet in Northern Europe.

In recent years he has focused on advising on structure and growth with the Managing Directors and Business Unit Managers of a number of small to medium sized enterprises via his Executive & Organisational Development business.

Guy’s experience in building businesses from ground level to successful enterprises in both the SME space and the Corporate world provide strong reference points for the members of his ACE Group 37
